Ethan Bach
Ethan Bach works at the Institute of American Indian Arts as the Digital Dome Director and teaches in the New Media Arts Department. He is an internationally known media artist who received his MFA in Electronic Arts at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Bach's innovative creative utilization of various new technologies and interactive video installation provides foresight into the human race and our relationship to ourselves and the world around us. The Santa Fe Reporter calls Bach, "an artistic meteorologist of sorts who observes the surrounding human climate and forecasts what is to come...". Bach has presented in science and technology centers, universities, abandoned historical sites, film festivals, and art shows worldwide. He has exhibited at the MOV-iN Fine Arts Gallery in Santa Fe, Electrocuciones Electrocutions in Madrid, Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, and Bangalore Queer Film Festival in Bangalore, to name a few. In 2010, Ethan was granted funding for his collaborative work, Retrieving Humanity, from the Santa Fe Arts Commission as part of the Santa Fe Complex.
